Pre-Season 2019

Austin Samuels added to the squad for the China trip

Man City still in the UK. So far they have had 2 flights cancelled.

What time is the match tomorrow? Is it tomorrow?

I need to plan on going missing from work for a couple of hours.

Wolves match is live on Sky (401 & 402) tomorrow from 10:45am, followed by the 2nd match between Man City and West Ham from 1:15pm.

There are 2 live matches on Saturday 20th from 10am & 12:15pm, same channels. I presume one will be the final and one will be the 3rd/4th place match.

Whatever happens it's chance to see Wolves twice. :)

Can't wait. Work til 10 then I'm offski

Yep. Lose tomorrow and we are the early kick off. Obviously the later kick off if we win.

Exactly how tall is Rodders ?? :)

The shirts we wear today will be a bit different. As we cant have ManBetx due on when playing in China our shirt sponsor for the week will be Fosun.

So who is skiving off work today/this morning to watch the match?

I tried to move a few things around but am unfortunately stuck in the office. So it will be a subtle phone on my desk job for me, during the match itself. But it's on record & I will watch it in full this evening.

Not quite sure what to expect. I suspect it will be a level above the usual pre-season stuff we are served up, but still miles off an actual PL match. And this is our first proper pre-season friendly too, so there will be a lot of sideways passing and walking around.

Yep. Not at work so will be tuning in.

I fear for the sanity of some people if we lose this glorified kick about.

Im still of the opinion that pre-season games should be like the ones we played v Huddersfield & Walsall and done in private. Its a training session and put in front of people they take it waaaaaaaaay to seriously, especially when we lose

How would one go about watching it?

I'm working from home - not all good news though, because I'm doing so to go to the dentists for the first time in over a decade this afternoon.

Didn't realise we were playing this morning until after I was offered the appointment.

I'm sure a nice 2-0 defeat and subsequent online wailing will more than compensate for having several teeth pulled out with pliers.
