I'm confused at the interviewing 4 but Lage is all but done before they are done.
Are doing 3 others to meet some requirements

No need for that TT, I was being a bit sarcastic and tongue in cheek. It may yet turn out Mendes is using Wolves as another carousel, but he hasn't done too much wrong by us in 4 years.

I mean he sold Doherty for £15m for a start...

People are just looking for a conspiracy where there isn't one.
 
So if it is Lage, we are hoping he is the Neto end of the perceived dodgy Mendes scale rather than Ola John
 
I remember when Jeff said when asked about the role of Mendes and how much influence he as. Jeff replied that he works for Wolves, not Wolves working for him. He also said he doesn't tell us what to do with we tell him.
 
I don't think TT's problem is that Lage has links to Mendes, it's if we can only seem to look to him for managers. Long term, it limits us. That has also shown in the player recruitment a little bit.
 
I think the problem people are having with this is the fact we seem to be hiring a mendes guy without doing due diligence on others IF we are to believe the reports coming through. Maybe they are interviewing more, but as of today it seems Lager guy is "here we go".
I have a problem with that because i think he is not an upgrade on Nuno. I thought moving on from Nuno was about something better imo.
 
I think it's all a plan to get Fabio banging the goals in next season with scant regard for actually winning matches so we can sell him and make a nice tidy profit.

I've been very clear, Mendes has offered more good than bad, but if we just walk into whatever managerial appointment he wants then that's changed. This isn't about Nuno, that's gone, but a lazy 'who have you got 'Jorge recruitment process just makes us the club everyone thinks we are. For clarity he did help to sell Doherty for £15, he took 1/3 of that

Guo has shares in Gestifute, he wouldn't want to take the piss by palming us off with dud players and managers.

Lage may or may not work, who knows, but where players are concerned there are more successes than failures.

Lopetegui isn't part of his agency. Nor is Zenga I don't think.

Nope. Just the process we seem to be in. All reports are "Yay Jorge finally has a club for his client" but at the same time we are interviewing 3 others.
Are we doing as Jorge tells us but at the same time hitting some requirements. Does a WP appeal, if needed, get helped by "we interviewed some top coaches and Rafa and this guy is the best, let us have him please" or is this genuine shortlist and maybe we are not doing as Jorge says

That's what Timmy said about Nuno wasn't it? Nuno would always go for mendes clients

Not me Kenneth, I was all for seeing how thing developed. I was, however, pissed off with seeing a load of League 1 cloggers trying to kick us off the park

I think he suggested that we had the option to pursue Olmo but Nuno wanted Podence. As one example anyway.

But Lopetegui isn't a Mendes client as I mentioned, nor do I think Zenga is.
