Look it could be true that he is pretending I just find it very hard to believe. Going live on TV on the largest sports news channel when you are on the brink just wouldn't make sense.He hasn't been sacked though, he just knows he's going to be, hence his position. I disagree with you, I actually think pretending all is right in the world is the smart thinking do.
My personal opinion is that he has seen what we have seen (hence his "anything an happen in football" comment) but hasn't been told anything directly. Spiers commentary on SSN today has confirmed that we can ignore everything the E&S has said in the last week or so.
There were some signals that all was not well, but some could be passed as dialect.
The reality is noone knows not even Paddington (praise be upon him)
