UAE to leave OPEC, experts think it might be the beginning of the end for the organisation.
I've no idea what the global effects will be.

It could work differently. UAE's production is governed by OPEC who limit how many barrels they can produce. IIRC the UAE has a pipeline to Fujairah which means oil can be exported without conflict with the Stait of Hormuz. If UAE can up it's productio it could trigger a price war!

Passed two petrol stations today. One at Tong had diesel at 182.9, the one in Penkridge was 199.9. I wonder if the latter gas limited supplies or is just taking the piss?

Is it an Essar station at Tong? They mostly have the cheapest. The one at Grindley Brook near Whitchurch is always the cheapest by far in this area.

Recently changed to Jet i think.

The one in Whitchurch was recently sold as the owner retired. Had a spell where they were charging the same as others in the area but now gone back to the cheaper model.

Filled up at Sainsbury's in Wolves this morning, 149.9 for petrol, not bad by current standards

Petrol App says its dropped to 147.9 now

Grindley Brook currently 151.9 for petrol and 174.9 for diesel
Yeah it goes up and down quite regularly.
its almost worth driving the 20 miles from Newport, 157.9 and 158.9 at our town stations. We went to Bridgnorth Monday, Sutton Maddock was 163.9.

Sutton Maddock is always expensive as is Bridgnorth. The cheapest here is Worfield Garage who drop their prices at weekends so there's usually a bit of a queue on the way back from a Wolves game

Total energies in wolves tends to undercut sainsburys & tesco by a couple of pence per litre.

Yeah 145.6 for petrol and 179.6 for diesel. Not very convenient for me though so usually do Sainsbury's plus if Pay At Pump so don't have to speak to anyone!
