O'Neil Confirmed

Fuck, I just remembered that hiring O’Neil means we passed up a chance at Xabi Alonso. 😭

I haven't checked the validity of this, but I saw some Bournemouth fans criticising he was too quick to put CBs at the fullback positions, at least he can't do that here if it is true, as we currently don't have enough CBs.
Toti nailed on for LB then?

The wait for a sartorially elegant manager continues. Nuno and Zenga both looked the business in their suits on day 1, but quickly reverted to training gear.
I quite liked Solbakken's "light sweater over a collared shirt" look.

Dave Jones was a one outfit man for the most part. White shirt, club tie. Lean on the dugout. Wairk hard, play for the shairt, keep plugging away.

Lage was always the picture of sartorial elegance in that Castore hoodie... (saw another manager wearing an almost identical one on the EFL highlights last night too)

Ok for training and traveling but not on the touchline or in interviews.QPWA2L7AKNCXNEI3IZF5J5333A.jpg

Paul "Big Logo" Lambert. He bloody loved that sweatshirt. Probably still got a drawer full of them.

None of it fit. He always looked like he was wearing his big brothers hand me downs.

I forgot about Solbakken, pretty sure he was a tracksuit/coat kinda guy on the sideline though.

Dressed like my dad at a party, which was the same as my dad going to work.

I've never seen a man look so uncomfortable in trainers and a t shirt as my old man.

McGhee always went full bench gear on a matchday. When we had terrible bench gear.

He did have a brief stage of wearing a cap, shorts and glasses like Mr Magoo but I can't find a picture of it now.

Edit: Ah, here he is. The doofus.

Had a suit on unveiling and he looked like a shit 90s car salesman.

Cheering for him from behind a keyboard isn't really gonna help though is it?

I'm not going to the united match, will be watching on tv, rest assured GON will receive my full encouragement from the South Bank v Brighton.
That's a little harsh!
I'll be like you, watching it on tv, but just so you know I'm trying, I'll open the windows and shout as loud as I can.
I live on the East coast of Ireland, so if the wind is blowing from the UK, you probably wont hear me...

Both those track jackets are immaculate, you boring, boring man!

Bournemouth fans already insufferable on Twitter. I hope we take a mammoth shit on them this season

I was going to say, if anyone on here has one of them lying around in decent condition you'd probably get £100-150 for it now.
That style is definitely back in right now.

Anyone fancy buying a late 80's Wolves Baseball Jacket in decent condition (medium). My Dad is selling his after it has spent the best part of the last 30 years sat buried in his wardrobe
