Nuno to leave Wolves

Only time will tell if he got it right. I would also say from Nuno's comments he isn't overly disappointed. A huge weight lifted etc etc
That I can see. I don't think he wanted to leave, I think he was committed, maybe too much? I do think he's broken and needs to recharge his batteries, I was hoping 6 weeks or so over the Summer would do that though

He needs to deliver something that level (obviously not to the extremes of the Leicester title win which was extraordinary) to make me believe this is a good idea. Hugely pissed off with Shi if it is a sacking. Hugely. Unforgivable

As DW says it’ll be extremely hard to find someone who can achieve more than Nuno has at best if Jeff gets lucky they’ll stumble across someone who has us close to that.
All current candidates are downgrades or sideways moves.
Expect some unsettled times to come and don’t be surprised if we’re not playing PL football in 18 months time.

It’s Friday and I really should find better things to do with my time.....anyway, I’ve googled mutual consent and nowhere does it say it can’t exist if one party instigates.

Im going to go with the official line on this thanks, seems perfectly plausible to me.

As i surmised the whole of the backroom staff are leaving with Nuno. That is a lot of people to replace, if you can even replace some of them. It's a huge, no, absolutely huge gamble by Fosun.

the new managers usually comes in with their own backroom staff

I'm sure the real story will come out soon. We all want it to be now but for sure it won't be till after the last game and Nuno has said his goodbye's.
Can’t see it coming from Nuno’s side though. He’s definitely a man of mystery. We’ve not learnt much about the personal side of him since he’s been here. Very much kept himself to himself.

I've got some magic beans if you are interested?

He needs to deliver the next step in the progression and that is breaking the top 6.
It's a horrible day but right now it is not unforgivable as we are trying to fill the gaps ourselves. We've had different reasons given all afternoon. Football is brutal

End of the day, the owners of the club have seemingly decided to get to the next level we have to change. At the same time a tired, stressed out manager has not put up a fight. Could have easily walked when told, so to me that says he is happy to go at this point.

Let's not forget our owners are investors. At some point they will sell us. Maximum profit they need a shit hot club. Championship or Crystal Palace style seasons in the Prem does get a return on their $$

Still, fucking gutting though.

Would the whole backroom staff going suggest he’s off elsewhere? I know it’s part and parcel of football, but it’s a bugger to find yourself out of a job just because your boss quits.

He has for sure, but Timmy seems to have a lot more info on it for tomorrow, and i guess that will be on the Athletic.

A new manager will want his own team though, so they will be paid off too
I get that, but there's a lot of coaches on Nuno's backroom team. Even a psychology coach. It's almost like we are back to 2017 but with a different set of players. It can all go very badly, or not. Like i said it's a very big gamble.

They have almost all been together since their Rio Avenue days
