You could see during the game what was happening. Bolton came racing out the blocks and we're closing us down all over the pitch. They created a few half chances but nothing to worry about.

We kept them at arm's length and let them tire themselves out before we took control of the game and really started dictating play. It could have been more if we'd really tried.

That's what's impressed me most about this and the blues game. Two teams absolutely fighting for their lives and we've made it look easy

Afobe doesn't do it nearly as well but Afobe scores goals

I'm still undecided if we should keep Leo.

To be the kind of player leo is in the PL you need to be Sheringham/Cantona kind of good, and he's nowhere near. His technical game very good, but nowhere near where he needs to be to make up for his lack of killer instinct, strength or pace

I agree. Nice guy, we will always be grateful for the goals at the start of this season to get us up and running, but it’s quite obvious to anyone with eyes that he isn’t good enough for the PL. Not sure why it’s a debate, really.

Lacl of killer instinct, strength and pace is spot on. Lovely guy and wherever he goes he'll go with all my good wishes, but he is simply not good enough for where we are aiming to go

agreed to some extent, but his early season form would be quite decent in PL - and had a killer instinct - his goals were not just tap ins from 2 yards. I'd like to see him given a chance (more would always be recouped with transfer) especially with a proper pre-season behind him.

On another issue we've conceded 36, the same as Cardiff. You'd have to think that we are now going to end the season with both the best attack and the best defence. As it should be...

Having watched the recording of the full match, with its restrictions in mind, I would give MOM to Coady.

IMO I thought he just shaded it from Costa, who is definitely back to his best, thanks to both a goal and an assist of 60yds for Afobe, plus his sterling defensive work. BTW how cool and laid-back can Boly get? It looked like he was in 3rd gear for most of the match and still just as effective. He must be the first signing after Jota, please Nuno.

I though Leo had a decent game, however I don't think he's good enough for the pre whilst the lack of preseason will gave had an impact but he's had minimal game time in the second half of the season so fatigue shouldn't really be an issue.
