It's for extra/different flavour, not moisture. I don't always add it, just occasionally. No sauce on egg, why do you need extra moisture?

King of sauces. Sure you can find HP or Daddies in the British sections over there."Brown sauce" is such a vague classification that it genuinely puts me off trying it.
Basically what I would call "steak sauce" IIRC. Tasty stuff if that's right.King of sauces. Sure you can find HP or Daddies in the British sections over there.
I went for an Indian meal years ago and was dubious about the chicken option so chose 'meat' instead. Made no sense upon reflection!"Brown sauce" is such a vague classification that it genuinely puts me off trying it.
Usually mutton which is great in curryI went for an Indian meal years ago and was dubious about the chicken option so chose 'meat' instead. Made no sense upon reflection!
American versions taste different to ours I think.Basically what I would call "steak sauce" IIRC. Tasty stuff if that's right.
Just the name makes me twinge. Lots of sauces are brown!

I saw that sort of thing a lot at SE Asian restaurants when I lived in Jacksonville. Lots of specific proteins and then an option for "Meat", as well, which generally translated to "a little bit of everything".I went for an Indian meal years ago and was dubious about the chicken option so chose 'meat' instead. On the contrary, my parents were sued by them."Steak sauce" is way thicker. If it's this kind of thing.
(Presume you have contacted them about naming rights)
HP is the king of brown sauces but Lea and Perrins is a good alternative.
That's just what their lawyers want unsuspecting parents to believe.Isn't it A1, not Al?
Like a bit of HP fruity as an alternative tbh
I’m a big fan of brown sauce (Daddies is the king) but I love ketchup on a fried egg sandwich. No, no, no. Brown sauce on fried (or any other sort of) egg all the way.
