I'm partial to anchovies, black olives and jalapeños on a pizza.Pretty much anything is OK as a pizza topping, including pineapple and even olives.

Capers is messing about isn’t it? Like high jinks or BantzSome la-di-da posh places put capers on pizza. I don't mind them, they're okay. But what the fuck are they!?

You know… this is fair tbh.I note that Alan has questioned “Brown Sauce” as sounding a bit dodgy, but no issue raised with “Hot Dog” - Americans!
They were originally called Daschund sausages. And they’re served hot. Surprised I understand as I’m not an American. Ultimately though their origin is German, the sausages themselves made their way to America from Germany. There are quite a few theories as to why the term “dog” was used, all deriving from the Daschund name obviously. You know… this is fair tbh.
No idea of the origin of “hot dog” as the term. Seems weird now that you mention it.
Flammkuchen I believe they're called. Curiously German dish I've had in Bavaria and Berlin. On my stag in Berlin we went to this urban space called Suicide Circus and one of the food places did these White pizzas - I'd never heard of them, but they are pizzas with no tomato sauce base, bechamel or egg and cream sauce as a base instead.
Absolutely gorgeous, loads of garlic and cheese and herbs.
Totally different to normal pizza but really nice.
Tarte flambée, from Alsace Lorraine using 'white cheese' or crème fraîche.Flammkuchen I believe they're called. Curiously German dish I've had in Bavaria and Berlin.
Never seen it anywhere else.
