Don’t get me wrong, they are not my thing at all and I’d question the wisdom of certain tattoos in certain places, but the quality of some of the work is outstanding.

Agreed. I've toyed with the idea of a tattoo for years but when it comes down to it I can't find anything I'd want permanently inked into my skin for the rest of my life. I just don't get the appeal. Especially when you see some of the inane doodles people have, treating their skin like a toddlers scribbling book.

I genuinely know someone who has a tattoo of a jacket potato FFS.
