Molineux Extension

The government are commissioning a report on safe standing, rather than a blanket rejection. Positive news! However, Tracy Crouch has said that the current situation has caused no injuries.... I'm assuming she isn't aware of the scar on my knee from Burnley away 2008 (Kightly double) or the hundreds of bruises fans sustain each weekend...!

Safe standing is not going to stop you "accidentally" thumping Lycan...

I refute that slanderous statement. It was my elbow that "accidentally" bruised Lycan.

And we were stood up, just clearly not in a safe manner!

It's no secret that your hands are lethal weapons, I reckon that extends to your elbows.

If it were up to me, Southbank seating would have seatbelts to keep the unruly mob on their arses.

Only if the North Bank can have spikes installed on their seats so you lazy lot stand up!

We need to seat down. Takes 90 mins to recover from the walk to our seats in the Upper Tier

My trips up The Wrekin over the summer have prepared me. I'm only sort of knackered now.

Intersting interview with Laurie on football focus. Asked at the end about the ground and he said they are accelerating plans and said they have plans for these 2 stands - and nodded at the south bank and Steve bull.

How they do this depends on whether they are going to give a 'nod' to the original Morgan Plan or not.

Doubt that the fact that the 'new' North Bank hasn't been there long will impact greatly on their thinking if they feel they can produce a more cohesive stadium by replacing it again

Surely they do the Steve Bull, then the SB, then the Billy Wright. And then if it makes sense, replace the NB....

Seeing the new NB from the air it does look good. Only sat in there once and it was very good too. I wouldn't mind the original Morgan plan with a single SB - it would look very good. From a selfish point of view it would mean we could stay in our seats until the work is done too ;)

As long as they enclose the corners (the screens add little benefit) which would help retain the noise levels & up the capacity then would be happy with that.

Would hope that they spend a little bit more on the other 3 stands though as have been in the NB a number of times and there are not enough access or egress routes (though the Quadrant area is fine) from that - staircase up to the NB Upper is far narrower than it needs to be as well.

Yes, corners do need including. Would take away that wind too!

We could easily hang the screens from the roof i would have thought. The new advertising boards are basically long TVs too.

Can hang screens from where they want - the only thing I look at them for is the 'in game' timing when we are near the end of a game & it's close - both of the one's we have now are too far away to be certain on that anyway. I'd much rather watch the actual field play than the screen.

This season is the first time I have been in the BW Upper and the staircases are twice the width of the newer NB (though there are other issues with getting in & more relevantly getting out again) - that just smacks of penny pinching a bit.

Morgans Molineux the screens were going to go on the North Bank and South Banl
