Not really, no. If you'd like to be attuned to the minutiae of my personal life then you're more than welcome, but it's not that cheery.

I'm sure you'd rather not so it would be easier if you just said words to the effect of "yes, I made a bombastic statement that is patently wrong and while I still hold a view that is apposite to that of most people, yes, I agree I shouldn't have said that and started this nonsense off".

Do it more elegantly than that though. I'm no writer.

Maybe I could say that I made a hyperbolic comment, without being fully recognizant of the sheer reverence in which a certain gentleman is held. On the other hand, I usually enjoy heresy.
