Loan Watch 2022/2023

Fabio involved in Anderlecht s first and scores their second

Five goals and an assist in just shy of 300 minutes (a little over 3 games) for the boy wonder.

Some top quality marking there, excellent header though.

He's on course to score and assist more than our whole team this season...🤣

You’ve changed man, at one time you’d have been all about the loud shirts

STVV's kits are loud by default, being such saturated shades of blue and yellow.

You're right, though, the chequered pattern is a nice touch.

Didn't even need to go for it with the run his man had made either.

Lovely play for Boro's first.

Weekend update:

Theo Corbeanu - Blackpool (Championship)

Rewarded with his first league start after a decent display in the League Cup. Played as part of a front 3 at home to Swansea. Didn’t see much of the ball, though, as the Swans dominated and he was subbed at HT.

Dion Sanderson - Birmingham (Championship)

Played a full game as Blues lost 1-0 at Cardiff in a game where the home side were unlucky not to get more.

Ryan Giles - Middlesbrough (Championship)

A full game against Sheff United. Spooned the own goal in but did put in a great ball for the equaliser, and should have got an assist at the end, whipping a wicked cross across the face of goal only for his team mate’s shot to cannon off the post.

Taylor Perry - Cheltenham (League 1)

Played 78 minutes vs Pompey as Cheltenham lost again, this time 2-0.

Bendeguz Bolla- Grasshoppers (Swiss Super League)

Played the full game in a 2-2 draw at Sion.

Fabio Silva - Anderlecht (Belgian Juliper League)

The hot streak continues as he bagged his fifth of the season at St Truiden, and added an assist for good measure in a 3-0 win.

Louie Moulden - Solihull Moors (National League)

Playing against Southend at home in a 1-1 draw. Apparently made a fantastic reaction save and there was little he could do about the goal.

On as sub:. Lonwijk came on for the last 10 minutes to help Plymouth see out a 2-0 win over Peterborough, while Richards played the last 20 minutes of a 0-0 draw with Crawley at left wing-back.

Unused subs: Hoever

Not in squad: Kawabe, Sang-Bin, and Campana ( all injured).

Hoever is apparently playing for Jong PSV in the second tier tonight rather than travelling with the squad to Glasgow. PSV-supporting mate has said he’s looked really poor.

If there's going to be a turning point in his career, this will have to be it.
