Loan Watch 2022/2023

Regarding Mosquera, I'm an FC Cincinnati fan who also extensively follows the English Football pyramid. I'm not sure Mosquera is PL ready yet, but he has been a very good player in a strong FC Cincinnati side this season. Started all 6 games (and played all but 17 minutes), and has been quality in all aspects of the game. This loan is a big win for all parties involved.

Welcome! Fellow American or English expat?

Charlotte is the real QC 😉

Noonan is doing great work there.

There are plenty of players who have ability but lack application. We’ve had a few at Wolves over the years such as Bright and Borthwick Jackson. Hoever has a similar reputation. Are there any examples of players who have turned things round? I live in hope more than expectation Hoever could be one.

I was at the game. Played off the left first half then through the middle second half. Involved in the second goal too
How good was xavi Simons? He's putting up some really good numbers this season

Only seen him a couple of times but I think he'd struggle against Prem defenders, at least at first. Absolutely skates through Eredivisie, though.

Also, man, I just can't take a club called fucking Excelsior seriously.

I really hope they do a team huddle and all yell "Excelsior!" three times before the game starts

Love the desire from Fabio to get into the box ahead of the defenders

Glad we’ve let Fabio see out his loan and haven’t brought him back to the shit show that has been this season. The belief he shows to get ahead of the defender in that clip isn’t the kind of Fabio we’ve seen at Wolves over a sustained period.

Gut feeling says we won’t see Fabio again here, he’s in the MGW camp of just not wanting to play for us.
Would be a shame if he didn't fancy another go in the Premier league with us now he's showing some actual ability, but if he doesn't want to come back, we'll just have to get what we can back for him. Not much chance we get what we paid though.

His style, from the limited amount I’ve seen him this season, seems to have developed to suit the PL.
