Loan Watch 2015/2016

A full game for the blind pig yesterday but he didn't make much of a impact as his team were crushed by Boro. Full games too for Evans, Rowe and Saville, with the latter getting booked.

A resurgent Liam McAlinden also notched up another quarter of an hour for Shrewsbury.

It must be Christmas. Liam McAlinden was handed a start yesterday and scored! He didn't know too much about it though, so much so that the Beeb credited another chap for the goal. He was subbed after 75 minutes.

Further full games for RVLP and Rowe, while Saville was an unused sub for Millwall. Lee Evans' game was postponed.

Not sure if its been mentioned in here but it looks like Burgoyne and O'Hanlon have both returned from Corby Town.

Burgoyne has joined Telford on loan.

Tweet from Telford doesn't mention how long.

Didn't play for them yesterday, but their keeper broke his finger in the game. As an aside he went off for 5 minutes in the first half and the ref held the game up while he was in the dressing room. Never seen anything like that before

Another 90 minutes for RVLP but again nothing to show for it as Brighton lost at home to Ipswich. Maybe he's reverted back to his old Wolves self.

George Saville played the full game as Millwall came away with a stunning 4-0 victory at Southend, while Lee Evans was subbed after 67 minutes as Bradford lost at Sheff Utd. Tommy Rowe played the full 90 for Scunny in a 1-1 draw and McAlinden dropped back to his role as unused sub for the Shrews.

Finally, Harry Burgoyne made his debut for Telford and was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet after conceding a late goal at home to Gloucester City.

Rowe's loan is now up. No moves yet to have a further stay or to make the deal permanent.

What position was he playing? Mid or LB?

Would he be an improvement over *shudder* Doherty at LB?

Doherty played better at left back on Monday than I saw Rowe do for us when he played there last year

I despise Doherty but I don't think Rowe is any better.

Scunny fans don't seem particularly bothered that he's leaving.

He played pretty much every game and was only subbed a couple of times, so they made good use of him. He doesn't seem to have pulled up any trees though.

He would do a job at somewhere like Walsall, might help with their push for promotion.

Rowe will never be a player that makes fans think they should sign him up. He will do a job and not much else. A decent player to have in L1 or L2

How come Saville played today is he on a season long loan?
