Not really seen that much of Collins since we sold him, however I do notice while Brentford are comfy mid table, they do ship a lot of goals.
Yes they do , but people can't blame Collins for every single Brentford goal , as they were doing initially when he moved there .Not really seen that much of Collins since we sold him, however I do notice while Brentford are comfy mid table, they do ship a lot of goals.
Is it just me or does referring to either side of the Auld Firm as the “good guys” feel rather… loaded?1-0 to the Good Guys, in a Game every Rangers fan was dreading, saw us getting Pumped.
Playing the better Football, just said to my Celtic mate, Still expect them to turn us over
A completely redundant league outside of four games a year between two clubs now more famous for their complete hatred of each other than anything else.Is it just me or does referring to either side of the Auld Firm as the “good guys” feel rather… loaded?
Yes. Saying it generally is pretty harmless. To say it about Glasgow Rangers is no doubt designed to be inflammatory. Is it just me or does referring to either side of the Auld Firm as the “good guys” feel rather… loaded?
Twatted? Not to harp on it more, but y’all know me; if “pumped” means what I think it means it would be nice if there were a different euphemism we could use here.
I think on that one you are probably going a stage too far, humped or stuffed would be similar. It may have been the original derivative, but a bit like calling someone the c word doesn't mean you literally think they are lady parts I think those kind of expressions have evolved into generally being hammered which also doesn't mean hitting someone with a hammer. Not to harp on it more, but y’all know me; if “pumped” means what I think it means it would be nice if there were a different euphemism we could use here.
Spanish keyboards innitI have no explanation for the capital P though
More of personal ask than a societal one; never love the euphemisms that border on sexual, for reasons I think are known (at least amongst PTGers).I think on that one you are probably going a stage too far, humped or stuffed would be similar. To be fair to McSpain, pumped in the Scottish sense will not be a euphemism like you think.More of personal ask than a societal one; never love the euphemisms that border on sexual, for reasons I think are known (at least amongst PTGers).
Not one I’m going to push hard, just stuff I don’t love being reminded about, that’s all.
Not sure I've ever heard 'pumped' used in a sexualised way. Maybe an americanism?More of personal ask than a societal one; never love the euphemisms that border on sexual, for reasons I think are known (at least amongst PTGers).

Could well be! Ignore my fragility if I’ve misinterpreted. Wouldn’t be the first time! Not sure I've ever heard 'pumped' used in a sexualised way. Maybe an americanism?
Pumped is very Scottish, as I lived their 14 years has Scottish wife and obviously extended family, as well as friends of both sides, I do use a Lot of Scottish words alongside many Black Country Words and strong accent, which always cause much Merriement from the many Scots in the bar.Not to harp on it more, but y’all know me; if “pumped” means what I think it means it would be nice if there were a different euphemism we could use here.
