That's a good team goal. Sterling again making me eat my words!

Probably seals it, hard to see Luton getting one back, let alone two.

Sterling back in the England squad then

Luton do seem to have a couple of players that you imagine will stay in the Prem, if the little glimpses you have seen of them are indicative of them (and they go down)

Chong - looks raw still but only 23 and picks up some good spaces and no affraid to get on the ball. Needs work but seems decent.

Morris - Good touch and movement, doesnt seem particularly quick and may not get many goals this season but could see him working elsewhere.

Naturally Morris first touch after i wrote that was to miss control a long ball into his feet...

That juggle into through ball from Enzo was ridiculous.

3-0! If we finish below Luton this season it will be beyond embarrassment.

Who's this ref? Been decent.

Rob Edwards does a lot of shouting, arm waving, hand clapping, temple tapping, animated drivel.
Got a feeling O’Neill is gonna be a bit like that

Yeah dont recognise him, has been decent today. I do feel for the refs as its a difficult job played at speed.

I'll never understand why being animated on the touchline is considered a negative.

Bruno Lage likes this.

Although it's probably better than leaning on the dugout in a Dave Jones style like your dogs just died.

It’s ok if it actually means something like our previous Coach.

Suppose that's fair, although I'm not sure how you judge when it does and doesn't mean anything.

I dunno, I'm the guy who didn't mind Ian Holloway pounding his chest asking the players to show some heart. That type of shit makes perfect sense to me. Maybe it's the difference between American and British sporting clichés.

Its become linked with people with a lack of tactical nous a tad in this country I feel Alan. Like Sherwood, Lampard etc. Potentially an unfair stereotype but many question what level of instruction you are getting across in such a manner.

Managers do that when they've not got a clue what is going on.

That's harsh, I feel. You can't always motivate players with X's and O's, as it were. Sometimes an appeal to personal and/or professional pride can be exactly the right trick.
