What does submitting complaints achieve? It probably should mean something, but given the state of our refs it will probably make things worse moving forward.

Of all the decisions to be complaining about, I saw no injustice in either of those. The red could have been a yellow I guess. Smacks of desparation after throwing a two goal lead.

Possibly I thought it was a red, nevertheless it’s not a howler it’s judgement call.
Call refs out when they make very poor decisions but this is just low level stuff from Forrest.
Cooper comes across as real sanctimonious prick at times.

The red is a bit harsh with Boly covering but definitely in the “seen them given” category.

As for the penalty, I think it makes an interesting contrast with the decision given in that same area when the away side had a rather more clear case a fortnight ago. United get so many decisions, but this is not new news.

As it happened to Forest though, I feel remarkably sanguine about their trials.

WTF?

Boly looked alongside from the side on view, but he was never getting to the ball ahead of the Man Utd player, and neither was the keeper, so it was a Clear Goalscoring Opportunity IMO.

Rashford penalty was soft but you'd be disappointed not to get it given. The main issue is that it probably wouldn't have been given the other way round.

Both are stay on the field VAR calls, they are both harsh, but there's enough in both to say they are the correct decision. Turner stopping is what does for Worrall. In my world Rashford's is a dive, but these felt the contact fallings over have become acceptable for the last decade

Almost turned into basketball. You don't "get fouled" so much as you "draw a foul".

I think they’re both fair calls, the Man Utd player is clearly getting to the ball first and would have a GS opportunity.
The penalty is clumsy from Danilo, every team would demand a penalty in that scenario.

Villa 2 up at Burnley and Kompany looks a bit shell shocked tbh.

Just attack v defence in the Man City game now Sheff Utd not had a single attempt

Much, much better from Burnley this half. Villa barely hanging on.

City score off their 23rd shot (Sheff Utd have still had 0)

All of the promoted three look very under-prepared so far to me.

I do like what Kompany is trying to get Burnley to do but they look exceptionally mediocre.
