The decisions weren’t howlers and you can see the logic in each call nevertheless the disallowed goal looks harsh, yes it’s a foul but the play has entered a new phase once they run the ball out, keeper is also well set when the goal is scored.
If it wasn't a foul, the keeper stops it entering that phase of play so it's legit to disallow. I personally thought it was harsh to call it a foul but I get why it is, and would argue the same if that was Jose Sa in that situation too

Ipswich getting battered by Leeds. Summerville the class act on the pitch.

Ipswich look awful so far.

West Ham vs Man Utd is like both teams have just eaten their Christmas lunch.

Hojlund is being allowed to sneak under the radar far too easily.

What was it?.£72m for 14 games with 0 goals and 0 assists?

Only the bottom four have scored fewer goals than Man Utd (well in fact Luton have sort of matched their 18, only last week's goal at Bournemouth obviously doesn't count now).

Really poor to watch 4 games without a goal absolutely nothing endearing about them as a side.

Boly must have some Xmas shopping left to do.

Two yellows after 24 minutes.

Edit. Terrible, terrible decision by the ref

Luton ahead against Newcastle who are undoubtedly tired.

It's a fucking awful decision.

If anything the Bournemouth player stood on bolys leg. A truly woeful decision

Much as I agree with Leeds' sentiment it's a farce that a game can be affected that much when we have the technology to prevent it and can't use it due to a technicality. I wouldn't want it used for yellow cards generally, but not difficult to amend the rules to include second yellows

I was thinking that but there would still be the issue of the first yellow being wrong but the second yellow correct.

But then we shouldn't let perfect get in the way of good

Edit. It wouldn't need to disrupt play necessarily to review a yellow, but would it mean it would solely on VAR to cancel a yellow without causing further delays

That's utterly ridiculous. Terrible, terrible officiating. How unusual.

I think it's Rob Jones who is the ref, we've had some shockers from him iirc
