Now that is "giving up on going forward".Kick off...lump it back to Villa....Great stuff
Taking all biases out of this Sheff Utd 100% didn’t deserve the win. Did absolutely nothing for 75 minutes and highly fortunate not to go behind.
That’s not what I’m debating, if they’d won fair play the point is they didn’t deserve on balance of play.Meh. Frustrated Villa who created nothing. Then were looking a threat and did get a goal. Perfect gameplan really.
I don't think that's true at all, Villa haven't been good but you're making them out to have had no shots on goal.Meh. Frustrated Villa who created nothing. Then were looking a threat and did get a goal. Perfect gameplan really.
Defensive soccer == bad soccer dontchaknowMeh. Frustrated Villa who created nothing. Then were looking a threat and did get a goal. Perfect gameplan really.
Still a massive away point for them.Defensive soccer == bad soccer dontchaknow
Blades had done enough, but unfortunately for them, Foderingham is one of their players, so that fuckup does rather change the "balance of play", if you like that term.
That's the risk of playing that kind of football. Small margin for error and a big price if you slip up.
Yeah. Course. When your first effort on goal is in the 77th minute your grand plan is highly reliant on the opposition being poor. Giving up all attacking intent for that long is a plan I wouldn’t recommend to many sides. Averaging a ppg under Wilder ordinarily that would be enough but they need more than that.
Yeah. Course.
Bottom line, It's a championship team V a Premier League team.
Could have gone gung-ho and been Norwich City - entertaining, busy fools.
Took Villa to added-on time at Villa Park, very nearly got three points, got one, that is a good result for S.Utd.
