That’s not what I’m debating, if they’d won fair play the point is they didn’t deserve on balance of play.

I don't think that's true at all, Villa haven't been good but you're making them out to have had no shots on goal.

Sheffield United just took their one chance, they were terrible otherwise.

Blades had done enough, but unfortunately for them, Foderingham is one of their players, so that fuckup does rather change the "balance of play", if you like that term.

Still a massive away point for them.
70% of the games in the EPL are like that to a lesser or greater extent. That's why we beat the top teams and struggle against the lower ones.

When your first effort on goal is in the 77th minute your grand plan is highly reliant on the opposition being poor. Giving up all attacking intent for that long is a plan I wouldn’t recommend to many sides. Averaging a ppg under Wilder ordinarily that would be enough but they need more than that.

Apparently the authorities didn't want them going top . They sound like some of our fans, though at least we have genuine reasons for being annoyed.

I thought the handball decision was fair enough. Watkins push maybe but probably not enough in it. They conveniently don't mention the Duran red card possibility.

The decisions weren’t howlers and you can see the logic in each call nevertheless the disallowed goal looks harsh, yes it’s a foul but the play has entered a new phase once they run the ball out, keeper is also well set when the goal is scored.
