West Ham go to Craven Cottage and get thrashed 5 - 0 , they go to Anfield and play a depleted LIverpool and get spanked 5 - 1 . In the middle we play them and they thrash us 3 - 0 .

That's worrying , very worrying............or is simply that West Ham just don't care about fixtures that they don't expect to win ?

No team is exactly the same mentally, physically, and tactically, week in and week out. “Any given Saturday” and all that.

They also beat Freiburg in the middle of that.

I wouldn't worry about it from our view point, West Ham did seem to treat last night as 1 game too many. Which is odd considering they are through In Europe and safely in the top half of the Prem and with a chance of a Cup Semi Final

Football just isn’t that joined up in reality, we beat Spurs and Man City it does show that some teams just aren’t very good away from home.
It’s the same as when you you have jolly good effort against the big boys it doesn’t mean results v poor sides.

Moyes has always been pretty bad in games away at big teams. The Fulham one was a bit of a freak, they very rarely get thumped like that

This #27 for Blades looks decent, in the way that a fullback can do when any attacking output is purely a bonus.

VAR applied correctly, imagine that!

Still not sure what took Taylor so long to make up his mind.

Foul on the keeper tor me but lucky escape for Sheff U as they had the ball back and messed it up

Was awful by Baldock, trying to run it from there is ridiculous. Lucky boy.

Very fortunate it’s a foul on the keeper but at what point do you judge that the phase is over? They run the ball out the box and give it away

Poor widdle Villa won't get their temporary perch, aww

Hello!

Villa properly switched off there

Villa have been rubbish. I honestly don’t know how they are up there. Assuming just being clinical.

Nah it’s just one of those odd nights Villa have been excellent in a lot of games especially v Man City and Arsenal, not as good as they think they’re though.

Maybe. Didn’t think they were great against us though either. Certainly not “top of the league” or “top 4” good

Oh and they should have been dead and buried against Spurs too
