Steve Parrish going all out.

Fair play to be honest.

He compared it to Ralph Schumacher, he's right.

The BBC lady is trying to move him on, not sure why?

Was about to post the same thing. She was trying her best to get him to change the subject.

Then back to the studio where one of the pundits has got form for kicking people in the head.

Er...

Was before football 'existed' for many and probably have no knowledge of the incident or who Schumacher or Battiston are.

Hard not to compare it though I would say there was far less intent or delight on Roberts part than there was with Schumacher

Just showed the Schumacher challenge to my eldest as a comparison. No red card, booking or even a foul given.

Told by the French media that he'd knocked Battiston's teeth out, the German shrugged: 'If it's only the teeth, tell him I'll pay his dentist.'

In a newspaper poll taken soon after, he beat Adolf Hitler as France's greatest enemy.

Didn't he crack his vertebrae too?

The nonchalance in which he took the resulting goal kick definitely had psychopath vibes.

100%, was thinking the same.

There was no scrutiny at all! In fact there were Wolves fans saying it was a complete accident.
I don't think he went in with the intention of "I am going to crack this guy's skull and put his life in danger". But it was reckless, out of control, obviously dangerous.

Yes. Said he never went over to check how Battiston was as the French players were making 'threatening' gestures towards him

Osmajic has been accused of racially abusing a Burnley player in their prior fixture. the Burnley players refused to shake his hand, he then scores and celebrates wildly in front of the Burnley fans cupping his ears.

Wild.

Fat Frank is doing a very good job at Cov. Won 7/8 in the league and winning today.
Upto 5th in the table. He’s failed in his last 2 premier league jobs but his record isn’t as bad as some make out. The Chelsea players had already given up for the season in his second spell there.
