Golden goal was actually a good concept, but ONLY if you didn’t have penalties after the first thirty minutes as that just encourages defensive tactics and play for the penalties. Bin that off and positive play has to happen as you can only win if you score.

City in front in under 15 seconds.

Great strike from Gundogan.

Don't think de Gea is getting there but just crouching down and not even attempting a save is weird. Like someone who's never played FIFA before pressing the wrong button.

I know it's the rules but that's incredibly harsh, he's literally a yard away when it hits him.

It’s a bit harsh but it hits his hand doesn’t it.

Yet you can trip someone in the area, no attempt at the ball and it isn’t a penalty… 🤷‍♂️

Not a penalty for me. The only time I think those should be penalties is if the shot / effort has a realistic chance of forcing the keeper into a save.

So there are basically no penalties given for handball unless someone punches it off the line. Seems good.

The law has always been worded appallingly.
I'd say hand to ball, yes.
Ball to hand, no.

They could get some goon who wasn't actually good enough to play the game at any decent level to review it over and over again to decide if they want, but it if the above was the rule, there would be less annoyance for most football fans
and all the ex-pros, pundits, commentators etc
