I think I know where you're going with this but would happily read an elaboration.I'm watching the Championship game, no issue with people enjoying City for the football they play. It's awful for English football though
I don't begrudge them winning the CL. It would be good to see someone different win it. If they start winning it every year, I'd probably take issue with it.I'm watching the Championship game, no issue with people enjoying City for the football they play. It's awful for English football though
I’ve enjoyed fact that the likes of Man City & PSG keep failing to win the CL. I would happily have seen City get stuffed tonight.
Coventry winning is annoying too.
It’s been a long time since I cared who wins the CL. Normally I’d cheer on an English team but City annoy me. They are impressive though.Who would you want to win the CL then?
Hope Cov hold on.
Coventry or Luton would be something different for the Premier League with neither been in the top division for decades.
No preference on who of the two they've both been through it in the last decade and deserve a moment in the sun.
Yeah, I think there's something to this, though, I have to say that from the outside looking in (IE, from a Wolves' perspective), I'm not sure there's tangibly a real difference between:A team dominating a national league is unhealthy, 4 seasons in 5 is too much. We've had Liverpool and Utd dominate in the past, but without the element of financial drugging you get with City, plus in the CL era that becomes baked in. The CL itself doesn't bother me either way
