I don't care about Everton's recent 'run', they are awful to watch.

Gibbs-White has looked good for Forest in the games and highlights I have seen. Over on The Athletic I posted I'd still rather took the risk of keeping him and him leaving for free rather than having Guedes, even more so since we moved on from manager so quickly.

It was less Lage wanting Guedes than Jorge wanting to shove him our way. Nuno obviously didn't rate him which is why he'd struggled for 3 years previously.

Just another reason to like Nuno. I mentioned before my mate who is a Sporting fan and lives back in Lisbon now messaged me when we signed Guedes and wasn't overly complimentary, however just checked back through our chat and his final sentence was "I may be wrong, but you won't be impressed".

Other than having some hope from his first half againt Spurs he has been totally right so far.

Forest are a strange team, all the talk of the amount of signings they made yet they still start Steve Cook every game. Its got a very 90s Coventry feel to it, they always seemed to have good attacking talent but then would have a poor backline.
