If the alternative was they stay up at our expense it would cost a lot more millions. The deal is done. If the add ons happen, they happen. If they don’t, they don’t.

I missed the first two goals because I had the temerity to go to the kitchen for 30 seconds and came back to see it was 2-0. Maddison's fk for 3-0 was excellent. Henderson totally wrong-footed. Forest doing a Fulham from two years ago with all that spending and a clueless team, lacking a spine (in both senses).

Surely we knew they had no chance of staying up. I always assumed the difficult add-ons included staying up, the achievable ones things like games played etc.
Nope as reported at the time the most money is for them staying up this and next year then appearances but he won't play enough to trigger them until season 2. The difficult ones are pie in the sky like European, CL qualification etc. £25m still a fine deal, shame it won't be a few million more. I think relegation costs us about £3m on Boly as well

I wouldn’t worry about it. You can’t influence the negotiation so it’s done and in the past. Not worth the effort.

25m was still a lot of cash for Morgan, however much people may or may not have liked him.

EDIT: Must have had TT on ignore for a minute there.

'Difficult' is doing a lot of lifting here isn't it.

I didn't think it was confirmed what exactly was included, just said easily achievable and difficult. My assumption was staying up would be the latter. Surely we've not accepted a deal which included CL from Nottingham Forest, wish the prospects I negotiated with were this stupid.

How has MGW been? Only just switched on and he still looks like he’s trying too hard

He picks up some really good positions but Forest have no quality in midfield so they rarely find him. The one time they did he should have had an assist. Such a strange move for him really, he'll be playing in the championship next year as no one will pay near what forest did for him. Had some very poor advice.

Didn’t want to play at Wolves/under Lage and no one else wanted him. So had no choice really

They were, they made an offer but we turned it down as the forest deal was near completion.

I thought he made it clear he wanted to go to Forest because of Cooper?

Everton were interested I thought?
Oh yeah that was late in the day wasn’t it. Don’t think it was of the same long term value as the Forest one,but we aren’t going to get most of that anyway, and I think he was already up for going to Forest.

You are a defensive bombscare, what you need is to bring on Serge Aurier, that'll fix it
Stuck a couple of quid on him getting a yellow after his first (and only tackle) Did nothing else for the rest of the game.

It was the kind of last minute lunge he's made for the last few years and presumably before. Well timed tbf, they'll be plenty of times they won't be
