Not really 30+ years of suffering depression does though
You have my empathy, fooking horrible condition.

I'm sure you have a thousand coping mechanisms do don't need to be patronised by me.

When was the last time we (England) lost two competitive games on the spin?

Far too much space there and Pickford practically dives out the way of it (well struck but Neuer saved two similar efforts in the first half).

These are just friendlies tho...
Yeah, we regularly use to win these type of games in build up to a tournament and get our hopes up so hopefully this is the other way round now ;)

Sterling and Walker then both with great opportunities to create something then play nothing balls in quiet funny really

Mount and Sterling absolutely anonymous and are still on the pitch.

I think there are quite a few similarities between Lage and Southgate. Both play really dull football but somehow got results beyond what the football deserved.

I kind think the "Southgate got us to a semi-final" is similar to "Lage got us top half". Whilst true, misses the context

Saka is infuriating to watch three times he’s given the ball away in advanced positions that have led to Germany breaking.

Wow, that’s a soft pen. Looked offside (God knows whether that matters these days?), ball had already gone past him & couldn’t even tell if there was a touch.

Still, nicely taken by Kane & that takes him past Sir Bobby and three off Rooney.

Very surprised that was overturned in fairness England have been knocking on the door in the last 10 minutes

That was really odd - wasn’t he offside? Putting the dive to one side (not that we’ll hear much about that).

Not a massive amount of contact (Kane ended up making more contact with himself) but there was definitely a brush from the defenders leg.

Kane was certainly offside when the ball went forward (although the pass wasn't too him) then think it must have played on by a German touch after that.

Mount, Saka and Sterling were awful. Grealish and Bowen were very good when they came on.
Bellingham the real bright spot of the night really good at regaining possession and picking a pass.

Decent game that. Both sides had some good moments and others where they have work to do.

Maguire looks done, reminds me of a less overweight version of Paul Butler when we had to drop him in 2002. Needs a move (though United will find it hard to shift him) and a reset. He shouldn't be in the squad for now, he's all over the place.
