Surely your taking the piss?

They're footballers playing on a carpet of a pitch
Obviously just very unathletic then. Ball pinging around off loose touches too and all just a bit messy.

Just looks all very Sunday League. One team trying to get it down and play but massively struggling either by loose touches or sloppy passes with the ball zipping off the surface and tougher to control. The other team playing very direct and winning all the 50/50s. Whether that’s down to lack of match practice/fitness or the conditions I don’t know. Probably a bit of both.

Ukraine the better side but poor finishing costing them. Stonewall pen too.

Hennessey having a good game, the Wales staff most have spotted my back up keeper rankings I did on here, and realised he was better than Ward.

I wonder if Bale will dial it in for someone.. Cardiff? for 3 months or just go straight to Qatar and maybe train with someone like Spurs instead

Saw the Cardiff thing mentioned on the BBC site a few weeks ago. Possible I suppose. Or Bournemouth, played alongside Parker, lived on the south coast previously?

Hennessey should be getting games for Burnley when Pope leaves.

Weird that he's only 32 and the talking is of him retiring. Then again, like Rooney and Fabregas was playing senior football at a good level from so young so wonder if it's just a case of his pro career starting earlier than others.

Happens a fair bit, doesn't it.

Michael Owen was 28 when he won his last international cap and effectively gave up on being a serious player before he turned 30. Jack Wilshere has around 90 club appearances in the last six seasons, still only 30. Chuck in injuries and most players only have so many miles on the clock they can give, whether they've expended them at 30, 35 or 40. You get the odd superhuman freak here and there (Giggs being the obvious one) and defenders can carry on for longer, although our very own Jo Lescott was basically done when he was 33 having started off in our team when he was still just about 17.

In his case it's looked for at least 3 years that he hasn't enjoyed club football, his hate hate relationship at Real hasn't helped that. Pretty much only still plays because of his love of Wales and will in all likelihood retire after the World Cup which is why I think Cardiff or just training is all he'll do. He's certainly not going to get hurt

He will take the Cardiff thing just to keep a bit fit and all he will care about is Qatar

Was told today his 19 year old daughter is on Love Island. I was on my honeymoon when the 17 year old him scored vs Argentina. I.AM.OLD.

My heart bleeds for you, always nice to see England glad to enjoy success for the other nations.
Apologies, I was (light heartedly) booing because of who you beat, rather than because of where either you or I come from...
