Live Match Discussion 2016/17

Who's marking him? Good Lord.

Feel sorry for de Vries here.

Ospina, what a game so far

suarez goal for 6-0, looked so easy, great, great player and finisher..he has stopped biting for the moment too :)

After their goalless victory the other season, I assume the Tims are over the moon with their 0 - 7 draw tonight.

Not seen the game because i was at our game but still think he's better than Cech now. Said it last season and still think it now, Cech overrated on past performances.

he had 7+ key saves tonight

Champions league.
Man City first twenty minutes City have been excellent 1-0. edit 2-0 brace Agüero..

Monaco taking the piss out of Spurs.

Back in it now - thinkI am going to switch over to that one!

Harry Kane looked atrocious tonight. He doesn't look the same player at all.

Looks to me like his confidence has gone completely, chance on his left foot towards the end he just places in last season.

He made some shocking decisions though and his teammates looked thoroughly frustrated with him. Shooting from angles and distance when he could have made better decisions, not sure it's lack of or over confidence.

Definitely lack for me and trying to hard at times because he's struggling. Needs to get back to what he does well.

Kane rarely passes the ball if he has a chance to shoot, one of his biggest flaws for me, even if the other player has an open goal..was the same last season..just egoistic i guess

Were Spurs unlucky? I notice Monaco only had 2 shots on target. Really happy for Leicester, only Brugge obviously but a great start

Kane needs a rest. He's been Spurs first choice striker (he must have played around 50 games each season) for two years now. In the past two summers he has played at international tournaments. Poor guy needs a break - but not sure he will get one just yet. But disappointed by how many people are so quick to rubbish him, he's a fantastic player

I've never been massively sold on Kane, despite his fantastic goalscoring record the last couple of seasons, I just can't see anything in his game that's particularly impressive.

He's got that all important knack of being in the right place for the most part and he's a big unit but he's not especially quick nor skillful, I don't think his movement is ever really going to pose too many questions for opposition defenders, his link up with others isn't anything outstanding.

I think he's a good solid player but he's got a very good work ethic which often gives him an edge. I think there's a possibility that people are now expecting too much of him, perhaps even himself, things that he just won't ever be capable of doing to a great level, like his ill fated stint as a set piece specialist or his attempts at playing like some sort of No. 10 behind Janssen a few times this season.

I like Kane but he is very greedy anywhere near the box and often needs too many chances. When in good finishing form though he's a terrific striker.

Man Utd XI vs. Feyenoord: De Gea; Darmian, Bailly, Smalling, Rojo; Schneiderlin, Herrera; Pogba, Mata, Martial; Rashford.

The only Rooney is in Feyenoord.
