Watching the MLS All-Star game vs. Tottenham, Spurs are shambolic at the back and defensively in general. Bentaleb and Vertonghen the worst offenders (Vert has been genuinely appalling).
On this evidence Pochettino may not want to get too comfortable in London because I can't see them challenging anyone in the top 5 if they don't improve drastically.
Given their respective forms in preseason, Manchester United will run Tottenham absolutely ragged on opening day.
Aberdeen look pretty poor pre-season. Just beaten 2-1 away by Kazakhstan's Kairat Almaty in the Europa League and looking nothing like the team from last season. Pretty standard from Aberdeen, one good season and then everything starts to fall apart. No consistency.
