Must be so irritating for City fans to watch Yaya do bugger all for 80 minutes then decide he wants to play at the end.

He just doesn't care anymore though does he? He only decided to play for the last 10 minutes and that was only when he had the ball, didn't want to know when Arsenal had it.

Especially not when they're looking as leggy as Giroud has for the last 15 minutes or so, could very easily have gone very badly.

He's done a good job for them today though, he might not be up with the very best forward but he holds it up well and he's done his fair share of dirty work tonight as well, always think Arsenal look a better side using him up top as a platform to play from rather than a pacey outlet like Welbeck or Walcott through the middle.

his goalscoring record this season is outstanding too! He's had good competition from Walcott too this season which has really helped I think.

Apparently Arsenal have never lost a league game at the Emirates when Flamini has played. Puts Jack Price to shame that.

It's almost like he intentionally plays the lazy cunt for the first 80 just to give himself that advantage at the end of the game but as you say, even then he's selective about putting the work in, they need to look at replacing him because it doesn't really matter how much talent he's still got when the attitude has gone to shit as badly as that. Perhaps a stronger manager could squeeze a bit more out of him but he still seems to be treated like a golden boy by Pellegrini so why would he change?

Yeah, even when Walcott was getting the starts ahead of him he still chipped in with a few off the bench too, seems to have the right attitude to work at his game and try to prove people wrong.

Pep will sell him. He couldn't be bothered with him at Barca after a while.

I think he will too, he won't stand for his non existent defending.

Away from the game Thierry has been excellent on MNF tonight.

15 minutes gone at Stoke and so far Manchester Uniteds only tactic seems to be trying to find Fellaini with long balls.

A tactic that has worked so well recently..

Glen Johnson did something good :O

1-0 stoke (bojan)

When Sir Alex was manager, if United were 2 down he would have been on the edge of the technical area really laying into the players. But today, LVG and Giggs are just sat on the bench.

Stoke should have had a third there.

My memory of Ferguson is that he would just sit there stone faced which usually meant the players were in for a bollocking.

He saved his anger for the officials during the game.

Proof right there that referees favour the "big" sides. Martial not booked for diving in the first half, Bojan dives but realises and gets on with the game and no appeal yet he's shown a yellow card.

United a little better this half. Fellaini has missed a sitter, but every time Stoke venture forward they look threatening.
