How many of those would people genuinely want at Wolves? They're largely dreadful filler signings who do nothing to improve their starting XI. Pleading poverty doesn't really work with the TV income Premier League clubs have now. No-one's suggesting you have to go all QPR on it but they really could have bought better than that. Plenty of them aren't even good Championship players these days. Taylor and Reid might have been decent signings 10 years ago.

Chalobah about a year and a half ago but now none on that list would interest me in the slightest!

That's an awful list,I don't get what Burnley is doing. My first thought is they're not trying to establish themselves in the PL.

they are making numbers up..not increasing much in quality...bad business

It's Wolves under Mick all over again.

Nice to be able to watch MNF with my Sky Sports package upgrade man-point cash-in. Gary Neville's analysis of Simon Mignolet's starting position in letting in the Everton equaliser has been both interesting and absolutely spot on. Really good stuff.

Fantastic analysis, wasn't it. Ditto Carragher on Tim Howard's mistake(s) for Gerrard's goal.

Brilliant, and I hope Micro's current coach watched it. When he was getting specific goalkeeper training on a Saturday morning with a decently qualified GOALKEEPING coach he was told to come out from goal with his hands in a neutral position in terms of height so he could react to the low and high ball. His current coach has him loping out with his hands at shin height looking like he is auditioning for planet of the fucking apes. The bloke is a good coach but he isn't a keeper and knows cock all about what is a specialist position. I'm biased, but I reckon I would do a better job as it was my position and I know what the hell to do (even if I wasn't the best)

Coloccini has to do more there. If you don't jump then you're fair game, you can't expect a foul for that and he will score more often than not if he's unchallenged.

Agree with your point about specialised keeper coaching, I know the basics but I wouldn't dream of advising a young keeper on the technical stuff - I'm no keeper, I haven't got a clue.

Yes - definite penalty.

Newcastle have been dirt so far, and deserve to be at least two down.

Pardew can't last much longer, stupid contract or not. They look completely clueless going forward. I'm sure Cabella would be great on FIFA Street but he offers nothing in this league.

Almost a fine breakaway goal by Stoke all starting from some excellent defensive work by Arnautovic.

Stoke's passing and movement is poor but they're making the Newcastle players look like dustbins. I can see why the Geordies want Pardew out so badly.

Newcastle look pretty clueless up front and Stoke only look good when a Newcastle attack inevitably breaks up and they can charge upfield. They look pretty good at that point. Neither of these is a good side at all by the look of it, but Newcastle are definitely in more danger for me. They just look so poor.

Burnley and QPR are going to finish below them, but looking at it now which other team is going to keep the Geordies out of the third relegation slot? And that is why I expect Ashley to come good on his "joke" if this result stays the same.
