LIVE! Match discussion 2014/15

Reminiscent of us bringing on the Egg to save the day vs Man Utd.

Quite funny at times - Crouch with an awful first touch, loses the ball then goes down from a touch on the arm.

He & Krul then have a stand up row in the penalty area

Now I know why Neville is the best pundit on our football telly. Quality. But I would encourage others to look at what Carragher spotted about Tim Howard like Dan mentioned earlier. Both of them were excellent tonight. Watch and learn BBC pundits.

Neville thought he saw something, and went back over two seasons to find out he was right about Mignolet. Lawrenson has a nice smug smile. No contest.

His current coach has him loping out with his hands at shin height looking like he is auditioning for planet of the fucking apes. The bloke is a good coach but he isn't a keeper and knows cock all about what is a specialist position. I'm biased, but I reckon I would do a better job as it was my position and I know what the hell to do (even if I wasn't the best)

I guess the coach is basically just thinking about the goal size Robin is playing in. Its poor and not actually helping the lad progress as he will take that coaching with him. One eyed stuff that is creating a keeper for 5 aside goals.

This nigerian forward Musa is running circles with bayern cb:s..ooh he got clipped now..good player with amazing speed

Some more stuff here:

As a non-goalkeeper I find this stuff interesting. It's not an area I've previously studied in any real depth. I could tell you that pre-2013/14, Carl Ikeme used to get beaten far, far too often from range but I couldn't tell you why. Or what he's done to fix it. Whereas I could easily give you chapter and verse on why Ronald Zubar was an absolutely terrible full back.

It's great analysis from both. It's a brilliant spot by Carragher! He must have spent plenty of time looking at it!!

I expect City to beat Roma with relative ease,3-0 I believe.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Roma are a very good team. I fancy them to win Serie A this season. They were definitely the team to avoid in the group stage because their seeding is wildly at odds with the quality of their squad.

Maicon is stupid but Aguero has bought that a little. I don't think Maicon was actually stopping him and he could have got away.
