Lettuce Liz then Tetchy Rish! and the battle to replace him

Pffft....he used to be at his local WMC every Thursday watching the local league.
Would have played himself but just couldn't hit a dart board when set at its regulation height.

Here you go Rish, Merry Christmas, sorry it's late.

Person selected to stand for the Tories to replace Peter Bone.....his partner Helen Harrison (currently a Tory Councillor)

Seems she was selected as he threatened to stand as an independent in the election if she wasn't on the list of candidates. Tories were worried if he did that he would split their vote.

He'll be back at the next election in a flash

That's exactly how it should've been done.
Quite and given any decent law firm could have told them how to it just shows it was never intended to look after UK supply.

Similarly having no protections against excess profit in the PPE and Test and Trace contracts is hugely negligent. Where were the tough questions and scrutiny from him and the Treasury when these contracts were being drawn up.

The whole point is they didn’t want checks and balances to exist as their mates were profiting.

Rishi Sunak has just started his PM Connect event. He is in Accrington in Lancashire.

He starts by claiming he has “made progress” on the five priorities he set out last year.

Didn't you say you'd have them done inside a year, Tetch?

he only took 4 questions from the press after. Avoiding scrutiny, and lacking confidence imo.

Of course he is, he's no good at this, which is why your fears that the Tories will still somehow win are unfounded.

It also why Starmer is pursuing a magnolia approach as Sunak won’t beat him, the only way Labour lose will be by own goals. I’m so pleased Boris is out of the picture as half of those who turned on him will have forgotten all about him being a lying, incompetent prick and ready to support him again.

Fucking ell, he couldn’t have given a fuck about the Post Office scandal until his favourite TV channel produced a drama based on it, must be an election year.
