At least Mr Polanski is directly addressing tactical voting there. Not such a big thing here in a single bye-election as his letter does the job quite efficiently, but the effective use of campaigning about tactical voting to kick that wanker Farage is going to be a key element of whether the Greens under Polanski can come close to a number of seats reflecting their polling on the day. He has two years plus to get that message out to the public, because you can be sure that Labour and the Conservatives will use "vote for us to protect yourself from the spectre of Farage in number 10" everywhere in a general election campaign if current polling holds.
