Lettuce Liz then Tetchy Rish! and the battle to replace him

Arsehole won't allow environment journalists into his press conference at Cop28. He makes himself look like a plonker anyway so having specialists on the subject he's supposed to be talking about asking questions won't make a difference.

Just came on here to post that, he could almost persuade me that he shouldn’t be the first against the wall come the revolution. Almost.

The Queen often wore things as a subtle🖕to people she didn't like.
When Trump visited she wore a brooch given to her by Obama and another from Canada that was a snowflake.

Charles going for the not so subtle approach though.

There’s a video on YouTube of a couple of mountain bikers bumping into him ( not literally) in Scotland he stood there and chatted for twenty minutes, came across as a decent bloke.
He was ok when I met him, his dad was better though when I met him, think I’ve mentioned this before somewhere on here about meeting them but can’t remember

Nope, didn’t for either of them, was working when I met Chas, so that took priority over him

I'm fairly sure they have to for succession reasons

Of course we have a bunch of idiots who don't understand such stuff and these wankers rattle around social media spouting off their bullshit.
It's only if Charles, William & Williams kids travel that they separate them for succession reasons. The politicians are subjects & aren't covered.

The politicians are covered within themselves. As in the prime minister doesn't travel with the King for political reasons.

The foreign secretary doesn't travel with the prime minister as active cabinet members may travel separately for the reason if one is attacked then the government can still function wherever they are.

Not my rules and I think the PM and FS should travel together as they sit together everywhere else

Awesome. They could, y'know, take one of the many commercial flights too perhaps as an option.

I guess they can't do that either in case some loon wants to make a name for themselves.

They don't need this conference in person in reality as it's more of a trade fair than a serious summit.

Plenty of political leaders travel in normal planes.

Didn't know that. Did they have to buy all the seats in the plane?
Not as far as I know, moaned about it obvs:

Boris Johnson says he 'probably needs' a private plane https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44221524

I was on the same flight as the Japanese foreign minister earlier this year. In a different class to me but just seemed to have some body guards with him. Most Scandinavian leaders fly commercial too I think.

Wills and Kate have travelled commercially before.

The seperate planes thing is disaster recovery related. We never allowed CEO, FD, Chairman on the same flights when I was a Co Sec. After the CEO was in Ladbroke Grove, that was extended to trains.
