Jeremy Corbyn

Plaid are really laying into Owen Smith regarding his voting record and Wales' best interests. He's also got an appalling record regarding the NHS...

Owen Smith has now put forward his name to be included on the Labour leadership ballot.

He must feel that the new conditions that have suddenly been announced for the ballot will suit his challenge.

Perhaps. Apparently some of Eagle's 51 MPs are flocking to his banner now. Laughable.

I listened to her (Baxter) on Channel 4 news Darlo and she was visibly shaken and upset at the threats and intimidation she had received. She was upset that her leader had failed to protect people.

There is no excuse for the behaviour of some of the members of the Labour Party, effectively press ganging people into their agendas under a weak man. It is unseemly, nasty and not good for politics.

Corbyn does not physically control the actions of 1000s of people and to hold him accountable for actions he has condemned can only be politucal.

Cameron's last PMQs was handled really well by Corbyn, who timed his statements well and showed good humour with/towards a man who had real skill at the Despatch box.
Maybe Cameron didn't want his last PMQ to end in a slanging match, who knows, but Corbyn handled himself with some skill after only 10 months.

Corbyn's constituency office was set alight yesterday.

He's clearly bullying himself

Quite. Fully endorses bulling himself too by not having a secret constituency. It's that damn Momentum #trotsrabbledogs that are behind it as that's where all the trouble makers in the Labour Party are.

The Labour Party have cancelled all branch and constituency meetings (including AGMs). There will be no more votes of confidence for Jeremy Corbyn.

Great move from a party that says it is member led and democratic.

So how did Owen Smith's CLP manage to vote to support his leadership challenge (9-1) after this announcement? Lots of conspiracy too as Eagle's CLP were about to make a vote of no confidence in her...

... and just like that Labour's "Procedure Committee" has blocked new Union members from voting in the leadership election.

I don't know. When did the CLP meet? Maybe it was before the ban which was communicated yesterday.

Labour's National Executive Committee (NEC) have also decided to suspend all constituency and branch meetings until the new leader has been elected because of concern about harassment, intimidation and bullying.

Labour said the NEC had decided local parties could hold meetings to discuss urgent matters, but normal meetings had been suspended.
