Jeremy Corbyn

QT last night had a question as to whether the panel felt the media were being unfair in their portrayal of JC.
Generally, the panel said they thought the media were fair overall.
The audience seemed to be a lot more supportive of JC.

The BBC this morning are running with an anti Jeremy Corbyn story because he went to an anti war dinner last night. Laughable if it wasn't just horrid character assassination from a media outlet that supposed to be impartial.

FIFY

An anti-war dinner? How disgraceful. He should be a proper MP and attend functions underwritten by arms dealers or corporate bankers.

Don't agree with his economics but I would trust him. He's a humanitarian he cares about people and that's probably why Murdoch and the other scum write such crap. He's a threat to them.

Hes pledged to introduce a Leveson compliant press regulator. Thats enough.

It would be enough if he was ever going to be in a position to do something about it. But as he's less effective than ed milliband he's not actually a threat to anyone, is he?

And the press are determined to keep it that way. You seem pretty content with a few foreign media barons controlling how politicians are perceived.

That old chestnut? The evil press brainwashing the stupid population?

Or is it just that people think his perma-student protest politics would be bad for the country?

As opposed to austerity, soundbites and BS?

As opposed to mature sensible leadership, yes.

I don't think he'll even be leader of the Labour Party by the next election, let alone in with a shot of being prime minister.

Fabulous.

Why is it that politics seems to prompt so much childishness?
