January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Makes me think of Sean Lock in 15 Storeys High when he’s on crutches and chases a bloke nicking his sofa (?). Great super slow chase routine.

Its a women who owns the taxi firm he sold the sofa too, only to realise his Nectar card has fallen down inside the sofa! Absolutely classic scene. He talks about on the directors commentary how he wanted to make the slowest chase scene he could think off.

Wanted Newcastle, threw his toys out the pram when that didn’t happen, got an improved deal, basically stopped trying - and is now going to a club in free fall (perhaps not as bad as us, but they’re all over the place at the moment).

What a twat.
Yeah. But I'm very excited about his replacement. Goosebumps.

Not heard of him before. Eredivisie?
I was going to angle a pun based joke in there over the ‘Goosebumps’ RL Stine book series but thought it was too niche. Fair play to you for taking advantage of the tap-in!

I have no shame in taking such an awful opportunity now and again. Beats actually thinking about who we will sign (or ‘field’ as the more likely word).

Anyway, most of the fanbase seem blithely reassured about what is going to happen next. Despite all the hard evidence pointing to lower half at best and a managerial change this time next year.

I’ll be glad when he goes and as
long as Leeds don’t sign him. It’s been mentioned in several places that his agent is a season ticket holder at Elland Road and we’ll be desperate to sell to them before the end of the window.
