January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

Also if we hadnt had the oh so clever Shi just making do with kids, we'd have very likely made another semi final.

A semi competent forward would have made all the difference, even under GON against Coventry.

For all the abuse Hwang gets, Fraser and Chiwome were FAR less effective.
I agree entirely but our circumstances are completely different this year and the priority is preparing for next season and if that means selling the likes of Wolfe, Sa and Johnstone at a January premium I can live with having to field a side with youngsters, even if they’re not good enough. I’ve spent a lot of time this year watching pathetic performances from players that don’t want to be here like Agbadou and JSL and others that are way short of PL standard line Tchatchoua, Hwang and Wolfe and I can guarantee whatever their ability any youngsters will play with more effort and pride.

I'm all for trying out some of the academy players, but playing one of the keepers for the rest of the year would be insane. It's a position that does require a fair bit of experience and none of them have played above national league level!

I think people are really underestimating the detrimental impact continuing to get battered for the rest of the year will have.

Nathan Fraser was no where near the required level. I think he’s the slowest player I’ve ever seen, so I think he’d struggle to make it at any level given he didn’t seem to make up for that for with any other attributes.

But he played 184 PL minutes. That had no affect on him let’s be honest.

But as for throwing some random kid in goal, that would be stupid. But that’s why we pay Dan Bentley.

Disagree. Those back to back games against Fulham(?) and then Coventry with the latter when all the pressure was on his shoulders destroyed him. If he's the slowest player you've seen at Wolves let alone anywhere else then you had your eyes closed watching Grant Holt, Robert Taylor or Kevin Kyle. Want to go more recently then try Diego Costa

Agree re keeper but we should be able to bring someone vaguely competent on loan.

I can maybe accept the first bit.

But he was criminally slow. Arguing whether a slug or a snail is quicket is 1) pointless and 2) impossible to prove anyway.
