January 2020 transfer window

Was watching the Ligue Un highlights the other day. Andy Delort is in the top scorers list. Ken knew all along.

I'm going for either grant holt or joe mason in an emotional big money reunion at a club they were both highly regarded at,if we're doing newspaper speak

Big Grant's still playing to be fair.

It will certainly be interesting to see if either of Oliviera or Podence are in their respective teams 18 today.

It obviously doesn't necessarily mean we wont sign them before Friday but it does mean we haven't got to the stage of agreeing a fee for them yet, in which case you're probably looking at the middle of the week at the earliest, if they're to happen.

KO is at 5/30 - can see us all feverishly checking team news at 4/30...

Podence won’t be, but Oliveira will be - there were quite a few articles floating around last week to say they wouldn’t begin negotiating until after their local derby this weekend.

Acoording to him both deals are certs.
It is going to cost him more cypro than he has ever seen if he's wrong, (and he owns a brilliant bar here).... me, i am not rushing out to buy a bucket.

Cool,do the Greek MI5 put updates like early start tomorrow going to raid Stavros vasilikas house on grounds of tax evasion,so leave the gate unlocked stav please?

ha ha no need, in the old days when i owned a taverna here (pre Crisis) whenever the tax office were doing a raid to catch the tavernas and bars serving without issuing a receipt, we knew the day before.
someone always has a cousin or a sister or brother working somewhere.
If Greece decided to invade Turkey tommorrow (ok even the greeks aint that daft) the last to know would be us greeks, the Turks would be camped on the invasion beaches a week before, and hopefully pissed.

Podence isn't playing today

Oliveira on the bench

I'm told Wolves are hoping to wrap up the permanent signing of Daniel Podence tomorrow. Final details being ironed out and he's been left out of the Olympiakos squad today #WWFC @TheAthleticUK
