January 2020 transfer window

For people more knowledgeable than me on these matters, what are the clauses likely to be? Are they related to success for Wolves - we'll give you €5m if we qualify for the CL - in which case they're more or less self-funding. Or are they related to things like appearances? He's played 10 games, here's another €500,000

It can be both really. Load them against the player and it will International Call ups, appearances, awards. Load it against the club and it will be win Europa League, FA Cup, get in Champs League.

I think United wanted add-ons for Fernandes that included him winning World Footballer of the Year and United winning the Champs League

Uncle Jorge is still in the UK...currently at Barnet's ground taking part in a meeting with other mega agents discussing how unhappy they are with FIFA's plan to limit how much they can demand from a transfer fee

From a Greek journo
Nelson Oliveira update:
Oliveira's move to Wolves seems less likely than Daniel Podence's.
AEK have rejected an initial bid worth €4m as they want €6.5m.
However, Oliveira seems to be pushing for the move to happen and AEK are lining up Sergio Araujo as a replacement #WWFC

Less likely but he wants to leave and they have a replacement lined up. God bless the internet

Looks like Baby Jesus has finally left us and joined Granada on loan

Once Podence signs, I'll leave the "ASDA" message again on Wikipedia, permanently.

Sign him up already! And get Olmo for a fantastic double transfer.

Surprisingly low transfer fee, I would have thought 45m at least

It's €20m with €16m in clauses. They're a perfect fit for a player like that.

It's an amazing deal for them. If (when) he proves himself in the Bundesliga he'll move on in a year or 2 for an astronomical fee.

Someone on Twitter who posted literally yesterday that we "had not bid for Dani Olmo" has now posted a tweet saying RB Leipzig have "beaten Wolves to his signature"...

It does look like we're pretty confident about Podence getting done.

A deal to sign Daniel Podence from Olympiakos is edging closer, am told it could be wrapped up by the weekend. He's comfortable on either flank (right-footed) so will compete with Traore, Jota and Neto for a starting spot
