Bus company I worked for in Machynlleth has cancelled all services tomorrow for safety reasons, lots of angry people on social media having a go at them saying it’ll be fine, man up, it’s only a bit of wind etc etc, those same people would be screaming why did you send the buses out in bad weather if something happened.
Yep was a rough one. Power went off about midnight, not expected on till 5pm.Ferocious winds here since 1am. I'm st my Dads place on the eastern coast and was woken several times during the night by what sounding like a jet engine roaring in the garden. Thought the windows were going to come in on top of me.
Nervous to see what damage this storm has done back at my house. The neighbourhood WhatsApp is showing fences and rooves of sheds gone
I've just landed into LHR on an A380 after a failed first attempt and a go around. Size and systems of that plane normally cope. Someone vomited which inevitably had a knock on effect on others, not being helped by delays due to there being no available stands for the a380. Felt for the cabin crew, seriously tetchy passengers.Busy holding pattern overhead and no wonder looking at some of the rollercoaster landings on Big Jet TV.
And we’re not even getting the worst of it either

Was going to fly to Guernsey tomorrow morning. I've rescheduled for Monday as I reckon there will be cancellations today and it will knock on to tomorrow with planes and crew not where they're scheduled to be.I've just landed into LHR on an A380 after a failed first attempt and a go around.
