My wife drove from our appallingly slippery non-gritted cul-de-sac to Bromsgrove this morning, dropping the kids at their grandparents who live down another non-gritted cul-de-sac on the way.

And she's not the most confident of drivers either.

If she can do it, anyone can.

I've just had a call from my team leader and she's put it as holiday, so it's now a paid can't get in to work.

And as such, you won't have to worry about getting into work, and as you're leaving that secret location shortly, you don't have to worry about losing a holiday.

In fact James, why don't you take 5 days holidays and let the snow melt before you struggle to get into your secret place of work?

My member of staff rolled in at 10am. An hour late due to the weather but being late is better than not trying to get in at all.

It takes him 1.5 hours with bus + train.
