My bedroom is under the attic. I have mine open and it makes no difference. The attic is already sweltering.Opening your loft hatch might help as well

A few weeks ago our outside a.c. unit broke down.
A fuse blew at a cost of $145. Took 2 days for the a.c. folk to come out and fix it. Inside temperature at the house got to 89°f
