Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Opposite for us. Lovely morning, cleaned the car. Got shit around 3pm.

Were having the snow this morning, typical Hednesford, always behind the times :)

Good amount of thunder rumbling around the Midlands right now.

Absolutely dismal weather lately!

Smashing down here again.

Its just weird - pretty much every day is amazing from 6-8 or 9 and then its thunder, hail, all sorts of shite onwards.

last month was too cold for me.
it is unusual, but we did need some rain.
This year is odd. seems like all the weather is a month late. march/april was blooming freezing, and we were still having frosts in late april and may!
May we're having the april showers, with avengeance!
Hopefully at the end of this month it'll warm up and be nice, as I want to be able to spend some time outdoors/in the garden!

I want to get some rose bushes. Haven’t dared yet because of the frost risk. Maybe Saturday morning I can get them.

Frosts can occur until the end of May. I never plant bedding plants until early June.

In respect to average May temperatures there is an old adage; "Ne'er cast a clout, 'til May is out" 😉

I believe the Atlantic conveyor belt which brings warmth to our shores is the weakest it's been for a long time.

I'm sure there was something in cricket too that you shouldn't play the cut shot until after the end of may

It's seven degrees outside. Seven! 24th of May.

Rubbish wet journey back home & it's dark as hell & hailing now - would like a bit of sun at some point

ridiculous that approaching the 2nd bank holiday in may, and having to consider forms of heating on many evenings!

Bloody ridiculous heat levels....I know its 'only 30' but seeing it was only about 18 this time last week, its a shock to my system.
Poor old dog has spent all day in the hall (coolest place in the house) when normally she's in the garden all day. She's been driving me nuts since 3pm to go for a walk....just about cool enough now if we stick to the woods.
Dreading going to bed
