I think I preferred the plastic wallet I got last year with my membership card...

West Ham tickets

Friend of mine has asked me his chances of getting Man United home tickets. He would be happy to buy members if that would help. Does it all work on points or would he be in with a shot with members? Sorry if it's been asked a million times!! Sometimes it's just easier to ask here. Shameless inticing praise plug. Cheers!

United at home? He is going to need a lot more than just members to have a sniff. Needs to be going to as many home matches as possible before then to have a chance.

I don't think any games are going to general sale this season so he will need to be a member.

The game is really late in the season so that membership will need to be used to buy tickets quite a fair bit throughout the season to have a good chance. You could drop lucky I suppose with just the 100 points but I would be very surprised if that worked out, especially against them.

It would 99.9999999% be ticket, rather than tickets plural that he'd be able to nab in any kind of circumstance.

Sound. I'll tell him to leave it then. I did say I thought he had a rather slim chance. Is it all on points then?

Edit: cheers DW

After United away.

Excellent. Sorry but one more question...

I know last years points are counting for these games. But that total is now frozen right? So it won’t increase with these first few games but then after the Utd game you will then be on 1040 if you’ve been to 3 away games plus Villarreal ?

If he really really really wants to go, his best bet would be to get a group together and buy a hospitality package. Won't be able to sort that out for months yet though. The game isn't until early April.

Now that I don't know. I can tell you after Leicester if my points have gone up by 10 :)

My Villareal ticket hasn't been added to my total

I thought about looking at corporate packages for games like Arsenal and Spurs for my London mates but when I looked they were suggesting that corporate was pretty rammed in general

You have to scan the ticket to get it. You can’t just buy one. I’ve bought a ticket and donated it to a family member to get the points as I’m on holiday (sad state of being a successful team)

Not a bad idea. If you split it up by the right number of people it's not toooooo bad for a nice day out IMO. I'll do it myself one day maybe ha.

Depends where you go - would still be a fair bit more than the ticket price & will be more expensive this season than it would have been last time - if it's the only way in then may be worthwhile (though we were looking to do a box for the last home game last season - didn't happen as not enough wanted to formally sign up - & that would have cost almost 20% of what I paid for this years season ticket)

Yeah I remember. I half fancied joining in but never met anyone and I don't like new people :D. Wasn't it about 70 quid?
