General Wolves News

You really need to let the hatred go mate. You're becoming obsessed!

If I didn't have to watch him every week then I would. As it is we are picking him all the time, out of position no less. It's literally painful to watch.

Still, I reckon Jedward will win the Mercury Prize before he plays senior international football.

If Ireland create a team specialising in people who run like a Vauxhall Corsa pulling away from the lights in fourth gear, maybe.

Superb. :icon_lol:

Seriously though, he's behind Coleman, Christie, Ward, McShane, Cunningham, Brady, Hoban and how many others for those 2 positions? He can't actually believe he's got a chance of making the Ireland squad any time soon can he? I've always felt from his body language that he's fully aware of the fact that he's totally fucking shit and that he's just riding his luck out until somebody calls him up for it but that statement suggests a degree of confidence in his own 'abilities'.

I wouldn't be so sure. I remember he had a good old strop a few years ago when he couldn't get in the U21's

Hoban is someone I'd like to see here. He's getting nowhere near the Watford team.

Agreed. You'd think he'd be right up Jackett/Thelwell's street as well.

Pretty well written and grounded. I really hope he goes to the Euro's

Thats a good, well written piece, I know most on here don't rate his ability (although I know no-one doubts his commitment) but personally I feel very sorry for the guy, most of his early Wolves career was blighted by injury and its only been the last 2-3 seasons he's had a good run in the team, hope he gets fit and goes to the Euro's and also I would be happy to see him back in the Wolves squad, not necessarily as first choice but certainly at least a regular sub.

I just noticed that! Funny how they let us play that one fixture in the premier league.

Just had an email concerning two more fixtures changes. How many is that this season? SKY have not only taken over and ruined the game at the top level they are also having a serious and potentially catastrophic impact on second tier clubs. The wages and transfer fees, for really quite average players are ridiculous. Wolves need to put me before Murdoch and alas have now lost another three ST holders. It really is time the supporters dissented.

13 televised games up to Blues (13th March), three more (QPR and Brentford at home, Sheff Wed away) moved because we had the previous game moved, plus tonight because of Bolton getting through to the Fourth Round of the cup and we didn't. So 17 games moved to date.

We're always on TV a lot in this league, it's a bit sepia tinted to pretend it never happened before at all but it's been a bit disproportionate this season especially as we aren't even any good.

Well I can't see it being any different next season. Granted we all make an extra effort when the team is playing well but for me football is 3 o'clock on a Saturday. You can take the odd game or two but this is now getting ridiculous. Fair points Deutschy but maybe its the whole package (football in general) that is failing.
