General Wolves News

Cracking last ten games though tbf, if we're in the mix for top 4 come March I'd really fancy us to finish strongly

On paper (and I stress, on paper - considering our bad patch last season came across a span of games that didn't look too bad) I'm pretty happy with that - tough games, or at least, 'big 6', aren't really clumped together (Christmas aside)

As Del says, Feb onwards actually looks fairly favourable, all things considered

Can’t beat that 4hr 45 minute drive on a friday

or the £40 five & half hour train journey with little chance of a return that night

Or a 13 hour round trip on a coach.

Could have been worse. They could have had away at Southampton.

Could have been worse. They could have had away at Southampton.

They probably would have prefered that as there would be zero chance Sky would show it to open the new season

Away v Chelsea last game so workers move in on the South Bank after our last home game v Palace the week before...

I suspect that we aren't too interested in the stadium development at present - nothing has convinced me that we will be looking to start work next summer

It definitely needs doing ASAP - being at 100% capacity while there are over 6000 people on the waiting list is lost opportunity of revenue.

The below games will be on Amazon Prime Video.

03/12/2019 19:45 West Ham United (h)
26/12/2019 15:00 Manchester City (h)

Cancelling my Prime Subscription! Fooking home games

The game that happens for the February mid-season break will be televised too. Which is Leicester at home on the 8th or 15th.

I thought it was pretty much confirmed?

It may be their intention to start at the end of the season, but I get the feeling that the program will end up drifting into the following season.

Not being firm on numbers of the proposed stadium shows the process is at an earlier stage than I would expect it to be to achieve a May start

I wouldn't take everything the club says in press releases on the numbers and plans. Behind the scenes there will be a target of when the work starts. They will know exactly what they want.
