November is probably the time to get excited or not, if they've not got a planning application in by then they won't really be set to get underway as soon as the season finishes and so you'd think may as well wait another year to take advantage of the full summer.

I wouldn't take everything the club says in press releases on the numbers and plans. Behind the scenes there will be a target of when the work starts. They will know exactly what they want.

No but what is telling is that they are still in a Strategic Brief stage, the discussions with the Council and Stakeholders will influence getting a clear project brief in place.

Its at a very early stage of development, and as much as we would all like it to start, there are certain realities that these programs work within

They will be in constant discussion with the Council prior to the submission, all to give the best chance that what is submitted will pass first time.

Time frames are almost glacial with large projects, that is my main concern, this will be a complicated job which will lead to its own risk on procurement. In the current market they will need to engage with a contractor early on.

Wolves U21s are back in the EFL Trophy for next season. Still completely disagree with it, I'd rather we decline the invitation.

Man United and Liverpool are in for the first time also.

While the opportunity is there, we have to take it. A minimum of 3 decent tests for the U21 players.

The only rule change I would make is no over age players at all. Some teams take the piss (us included when we first entered it but only once v Crewe)

Don't have a problem with it, but agree with Kenny, just use players U21 and give them exsposure & experience - can only help them develop regardless of how we do in the competition.

Often left to the contractor in my experience, so a lot later in the process than they're at now.

I would expect it will form part of the planning submission methodology, sounding out what is acceptable to the Council before submission is good practice.

It may also be a key factor in deciding the planned size of the extension
